The system consists in a HYDRAULIC ROLL-UP for glass wool felt. It is equipped with a pre-compression device and a preparation/laying system for the polyethylene sheet (reel unwinding, cut, adhesion, insertion). Thanks to continuous technical innovation, the system is able to deal with high production levels in terms of quality and quantity.

Designed and constructed for a company in the Far East, the system represents the most important element of the glass wool production line. The entire line is controlled by a supervision system designed ad hoc for the customer. The line has also been customised to meet the customer’s specific requirement to manufacture rolls of up to 1.5 m wide, a non-standard measurement.

The main innovation and advantage of the packaging system is that the polyethylene sheet is fed from below; this cuts consumption and, subsequently, costs. Furthermore, the system is extremely flexible and can be put to various uses. One example is the possibility of using two types of hot-melt adhesive and adhesive spray systems, making the system highly flexible according to the specific dictates of the market.
