FOUR-DISC FIBRE MACHINE for increasing production up to 6 tons/h of mineral wool.
Through the continuous interchange of information with our clients, every new plant product is continuously perfected or improved in terms of productive yield with respect to the previous models.

The fibre machine is the plant that through the centrifuging process transforms the lava flow that pours from the mineral wool furnace. The latest generation version has undergone a number of important modifications that increase its productive capacity from 5 tons/hour to 6.

Making the motor more powerful and the arrangement the four discs of the centrifuge made this result possible. In addition, to allow the mineral wool easier access into the forming chamber and reduce possible dispersion of material (in this phase the wool is, in fact, in the form of an extremely light and volatile fibre), the position and distribution of the air in the aeration system have been changed. The wool is “blown” through the aeration system into the forming chamber to undergo the next transformation.

Improvements have also been made to the spraying system of the resin to improve the final product and ease the process of polymerisation The resin is sprayed onto the mineral wool by the central axes and the lateral nozzles of the discs, allowing a more uniform distribution.

The cooling system of the discs has been implemented and uses “disposable” water, useful for the formation process of the wool.
