The latest generation forming chamber, matched with the new centrifuge, has undergone variations in its shape that have allowed optimising the aspiration flows of the fibre. The fluid-dynamic design of the machine has been made keeping in mind the combined effect of the aspiration force of the outlet ventilators of the felt and the aeration of the centrifuge. This ensures an excellent distribution of the felt on the conveyor belt. The transport system of the felt has also been perfected, allowing the achievement of 140 m per minute.
A high pressure washing system has been installed activated by a specific hydraulic system to avoid the formation of residues on the belt and the walls of the machine, instead of commercial pumps unsuitable for the difficult and grave working conditions.
A special scraping shutter conveyor is supplied together with the main machine body. Placed transversally inside the aspiration plenum, it allows removing most of the fibrous residue in a continuous fashion.
These design solutions contribute to reducing sensibly the frequency of both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and cleaning, to the advantage of the improved general efficiency of the plant.
