Gamma Meccanica SpA designs and creates specialized industrial systems.
At the outset, Gamma Meccanica SpA was an engineering company. It now has three divisions, each catering for a specific sector:

	the insulation division designs, constructs and installs mineral wool production systems,
	the plastics division is specialized in plastic recycling machinery and systems,
	a division dedicated to the creation of XPS extruded foamed polystyrene production systems.

From a small workshop to a leading company: thirty years of constant growth

The company was founded in 1977 by a group of companies producing insulating materials (located near Reggio Emilia), with the aim of providing maintenance for their machines. From the outset, a company target was to recruit customers from outside the group, especially abroad. Thanks to its customers’ trust, Gamma Meccanica is now a leading producer of rock wool systems.

In 1987, the plastics division was established, dedicated to the design and production of recycling systems. Gamma Meccanica increased its human resources with new technical and marketing staff specialised in this sector.
