Compac recycling line TRIM-CO
Trim-Co is the smallest line ever made by Gamma Meccanica. As all the lines belonging to the COMPAC range, Trim-Co consists of a shredder, an extruder and a pelletizer (or die face cutter), this model is, however, of very contained dimensions: the overall dimensions of this complete regeneration line are just 2 m long and 1.5 m wide.
Trim-Co is designed to regenerate materials such as film, fibres, fabrics and yarns. The line is particularly suitable for regenerating HDPE, LDPE, PE and PP in the shape of film, shoppers and bags, small cut reels and production waste. Average production is up to 50 kg/h and the total installed power is just 37 Kw. The extruder installed on Trim-Co line has a screw with ø 50 mm that maintains a constant flow of material, ensuring granules free of defects. In the standard line the screen changer is not foreseen, however it is possible to install one having a size of ø 75 mm.

TDA 2.0 with new centrifuge
At the end of the line has been installed a TDA 2.0 die face cutter, refined and interpreted to suit specific needs. Thanks to a new setting of the centrifuge connected to the die face cutter to dry the granules, the system is very suitable for the production of masterbatch.
This centrifuge measures ø 273 mm and is 800 mm high. These reduced measures have allowed a design that extremely simplifies cleaning operations that are necessary after each colour change. Centrifuge and tank can be thoroughly cleaned in about 15 minutes in just three stages, including the rotor by simply loosening a screw.
The consumption of water for granules cooling is greatly reduced, thus speeding up the drying process.
