System to recover production waste and edge-trims for rock wool production lines

The system to recover production waste of Gamma Meccanica S.p.A., has as its main aim to improve the general efficiency of the production line (economic advantage), recovering and recycling all the waste of fiber of the plant.
The waste recovery allows to send the edges produced during the trimming and grinding directly to the forming chamber or alternatively to a storage silo.
The storage silo by means of extractor, doser, scale, allows to dose the exact quantity of production waste included into the product, optimizing the mixing and avoiding to have products of poor quality and with low mechanical properties.
Production waste, defective boards or bulk wool from the main line, are also recovered and milled by an independent unit that mills the material transforming it into flakes and sending it to the same storage silo.
The material does not pass through the fans, so they are not in contact with the material, that limits the wear to a minimum.
