Hydroponic materials production lines

The line for the production of hydroponic materials allows to obtain shaped pieces of mineral wool for agricultural use: the shaped hydroponic objects are most required in intensive plantations of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
The mineral fibers beeing inorganic guarantee the absence of parasites in the plantation roots.
The boards for the production of hydroponic materials are produced on the main line (with special binding types), then the boards are treated on the dedicated line.
This line consists of a set of machines (with different levels of automation) which cut and shape the outcoming boards and cover them with special polyethylene film.

Hydroponic materials: the final products

It is possible to obtain the followinf final products:

“cube” or “plug”: the smallest component (cube or cylinder) where the seeds are placed;
“block”: consist of parallelepipeds with special holes where it is possible to insert “cubes” or “plugs” with seedling in it;
“slabs”: consist of strips of various thickness and length, completely filled with water and closed in a polyethylene film so to hold the nourishing substances.
There are special openings where to place or fit the above described “Blocks”.
