Cutting units for glass wool production lines
The cutting units are placed after the curing oven.
At the curing oven output occurs the material trimming: the edge-trims are recovered automatically and turned back into the production process.
Then follows the longitudinal cutting and the cross cutting, on the basis of required final dimensions.
In this production phase the product assumes the required final geometric dimensions.
Specifically Gamma Meccanica offers the following cutting systems:
- edges trimming system with waste recover
- thickness band saw (toothed blade of no dust type)
- longitudinal slitting unit with 2 to 6 blades of no dust type to determine the products width
- high speed chopper to define the products length
